Biographical Information

Shogo Arai signed with the Nippon Ham Fighters in 1990, and he stayed in the NPB Farm Leagues in his first two seasons. He was 7-for-30 in 1993, and he went 1-for-17 with 6 runs scored in 1994. Arai only got 10 more at-bats for the big club, and he announced his retirement in 1999.
