Biographical Information

Shiro Hanzawa signed with the Kokutetsu Swallows in 1964, and he was 8-10 with a 3.07 ERA in his first season. However, he suffered from a shoulder injury, and he only pitched 10 more games before he announced his retirement in 1967.
