Biographical Information

Shinya Hasegawa has played in Nippon Pro Baseball.

Hasegawa was drafted by the Seibu Lions in the 2nd round of the development phase in the 2020 NPB draft,and he hit .229/.284/.331 in 72 games in the NPB Farm Leagues in 2021. He had a .185/.221/.246 batting line for the top team in 2022, and he struggled again in 2023 as his batting line was .222/.276/.339 in 2023. Hasegawa was turned from a shortstop-third baseman into an outfielder in 2024, but his batting line fell to .183/.274/.240 in 72 games. He was named one of Seibu's starting outfielders in 2025, and he played 132 games with a .225/.286/.325 batting line and 3 triples.
