Biographical Information

Shinji Tsutsui signed with the Nankai Hawks in 1955, and he only played one game then he went to the Takahashi Unions. Tsutsui played 106 games with a .174/.269/.224 batting line in 1956, and the Unions merged with the Daiei Stars. Tsutsui was 1-for-10 in 1957, and he announced his retirement.
