Biographical Information

Shimpei Shinohara played for the Ehime Mandarin Pirates from 2008 to 2012, and he moved to the Kagawa Olive Guyners from 2013 to 2014. He was drafted by the Yomiuri Giants in the first round of the development phase in the 2014 NPB draft, and he stayed in the NPB Farm Leagues in his first two seasons. He pitched 23 games with a 3.62 ERA in 2017, but his ERA was 6.30 in 7 games in 2018 and he announced his retirement.
