Biographical Information[edit]
Shigeyuki Uehara was the minor league battery coach of the Yakult Swallows from 1997 to 2007, and he coached Kobe International University from 2011 to 2012. He was an assistant coach of the Ryukoku University in 2017, and he coached the Toyama GRN Thunderbirds in 2018. He went to the Rakuten Golden Eagles as bullpen catcher, and he returned to the Thunderbirds as their manager in 2025.
