Biographical Information

Shigetaka Egami signed with the Nankai Hawks in 1952, and he only pitched 3 games in 1953 and he was released. He then signed with the Toei Flyers in 1955, but he allowed 10 runs in 5 1/3 innings and he announced his retirement.
