Biographical Information

Shigenobu Yamanaka was drafted by the Seibu Lions in the 6th round of the 1977 NPB draft, and he went 4-for-19 in 1981. He win the batting title of the Eastern League in 1980, and he led in RBI in 1983. However, Yamanaka never reach the top team again before he announced his retirement in 1986.
