Biographical Information

Shigemasa Masu signed with the Yomiuri Giants in 1951, but he only played 2 games combined in his first two seasons. He then jumped to the Taiyo-Shochiku Robins, and he hit .244/.269/.302 in 50 games in 1953. Masu slumped to .124/.185/.124 in 1954, and he only played 7 games in 1955 then he announced his retirement. He later coached Hyogo Technical High School
