Biographical Information

Shawndrick Oduber has pitched in the minors.

He was 0-1 with a 6.63 ERA for the Netherlands in the 2022 U18 European Championship, losing the title game to Spain. Kansas City Royals scout Edson Kelly signed him the next month. He split 2023 between the DSL Royals Gold and DSL Royals Blue, with a composite record of 0-2, 3.86 and 45 K in 32 1/3 IP while walking only 8. Moving stateside for 2024, he was 2-2 with a 5.18 ERA for the ACL Royals.

Oduber was traded to the Los Angeles Dodgers for cash considerations. He split the summer between the Rancho Cucamonga Quakes (4-2, 5.98 in 30 G, 50 K in 49 2/3 IP) and the ACL Dodgers (0 R in 2 IP). He then made the Dutch national team for the 2026 World Baseball Classic.
