Biographical Information[edit]
Seung-min Hur played in the Korea Baseball Organization for 3 years.
Hur represented South Korea in the 2006 Intercontinental Cup, hitting .258/.324/.258 with two RBI and no runs in 8 games; he handled 19 put-outs without an error as their main center fielder. The Samsung Lions selected him in the 4th round of the 2008 KBO draft, and he hit .117/.159/.150 in 85 games in his first season. Hur recorded a .233/.294/.333 batting line in 2009, and he only played 3 games with the big club in 2010. He then missed the next two seasons due to military service. Hur never played another game with the big club due to back injury, and he announced his retirement in 2015.
Overall, Hur hit .151/.200/.204 with 14 hits in 3 seasons in the KBO.
