Biographical Information

Seung-hyi Lee played in the KBO for 7 years.

Lee was drafted by the OB Bears in the first round of the 1985 KBO draft, and he was 2-for-35 in his first season. He improved to a .307/.352/.414 batting line in 1986, then he hit .271/.344/.380 in 80 games in 1987. Lee slumped to .208/.271/.271 in 1988, then his batting line even fell to .129/.187/.165 in 1989. The Bears traded him with Oh-jong Han to the Ssangbangwool Raiders for cash after that season, then he crushed 5 homers with a .280/.335/.394 batting line in 1990. He blasted 8 homers with a .289/.377/.467 batting line in 1992, then he announced his retirement. He was the batting coach for the Sinon Bulls in 1997.

Overall, Lee hit .258/.324/.367 with 338 hits and 17 homers in 7 seasons in the KBO.
