Biographical Information

Setsujiro Kataoka signed with the Yomiuri Giants in 1953, and he didn't reach the top team before he jumped to the Kokutetsu Swallows in 1954. He only pitched one game for the big club (throwing four shutout innings), and he announced his retirement in 1956.
