Biographical Information

Seiki Sakakihara signed with the Hiroshima Carp in 1952, and he was 1-0 with a 6.00 ERA in his first season. He went 1-6 with a 4.55 ERA in 1953, but he allowed 22 runs in 12 1/3 innings in 1954. Sakakihara only got 3 more appearances for the top team, and he announced his retirement in 1956.
