Biographical Information

Seiichi Sakayori was drafted by the Orix Buffaloes in the 6th round of the 2014 NPB draft, and he was 2-4 with a 4.42 ERA in the NPB Farm Leagues in 2015. He also made his NPB debut on September 30 against the Seibu Lions, but he allowed 2 runs in 2/3 of an inning. Sakayori then had a 4.50 ERA in 37 relief outings in the minors in 2016, and he announced his retirement. He later became a police officer.
