Biographical Information[edit]

Sean Connole attended St. John's Catholic Prep for high school and then moved on to college at Washington College. He primarily played center field at Washington and was named first team all-Centennial Conference in 2012 and made the second team in 2011 and 2013. He graduated in 2013 with a degree in Psychology. Connole later earned a master's degree in Sports Psychology from Springfield College.

Connole began his coaching career at Springfield as a graduate associate coach in 2014-2015. He served as a volunteer assistant coach with the Georgetown University Hoyas in 2016-2017 followed by an assistant coaching position with the Hood College Blazers in 2018-2019. Sean augmented these coaching experiences by coaching in summer collegiate wooden bat baseball leagues. He was an assistant coach in 2015 for the Torrington Titans of the Futures Collegiate Baseball League and for the 2019 Waynesboro Generals of the Valley Baseball League.

The Houston Astros hired Connole in 2020 to work as a mental skills & development coach for the Corpus Christi Hooks, a AA team playing in the Texas League. However, the minor league season was cancelled due to COVID-19. Connole was development coach of the Sugar Land Skeeters in 2021.

Connole left affiliated ball in 2022 and took a job as a Hitting and Mental Performance Coach for R&D Baseball Academy in Virginia.[1] It appears Connole is still employed there as of 2025.[2]
