Sam Jacobs
Samuel Bernard Jacobs
- Born July 19, 1942 in Sint Maarten Netherlands Antilles
Biographical Information[edit]
Sam Jacobs was born in Sint Maarten and moved to Aruba when he was 10 years old. He pitched for the Netherlands Antilles national team in the 1961 Amateur World Series, losing twice to Guatemala. He won two games for the Antilles in a 1963 tourney, beating Panama and El Salvador. He next was with them for the 1965 Amateur World Series. It seems probable that he was the S. Jacobs on their team in the 1969 Amateur World Series.
