Biographical Information

Sakae Tamai signed with the Osaka Tigers in 1937, and he was 2-for-20 in the spring season. He went 3-for-12 in the fall season, and he had a 4-for-12 record in the 1938 spring season. Tamai only got 7 at-bats in the fall season, then he enlisted into the military and his professional career ended.
