Biographical Information[edit]
Sadataka Yoshida signed with the Toei Flyers in 1962, and he only pitched one game in his first season. He recorded a 1.85 ERA in 12 appearances in 1963, and he went 0-3 with a 7.62 ERA in 1964. Yoshida had a 7.88 ERA in 1965, and he missed the next two seasons due to elbow injury. His ERA was 1.50 in 6 games in 1968, and he announced his retirement.
Overall, Yoshida went 1-4 with a 4.18 ERA, struck out 37 and pitched 70 2/3 innings in 5 seasons in NPB.
