Biographical Information[edit]
Sadao Inagaki signed with the Mainichi Orions in 1952, and he pitched 3 games with a 5.63 ERA in his first season. He was then turned into an infielder, and he hit .216/.231/.314 in 22 games in 1953. Inagaki recorded a .254/.323/.288 batting line in 43 games in 1954, and he announced his retirement. His brother Shoji Kato also played in NPB.
