Biographical Information[edit]
Philip Elhage played for the Netherlands Antilles national team in the 1970 Amateur World Series, 1982 Central American and Caribbean Games and 1983 Pan American Games. In the 1984 Amateur World Series, he hit .366/.409/.659 with 6 doubles and 9 RBI in 10 games, finishing one double behind leader Lourdes Gourriel Sr. He managed them in the 1986 Amateur World Series. He has been a New York Yankees (1985-2001) and San Francisco Giants (2002- ) scout for Curacao. He signed Shairon Martis.
