Biographical Information

Ryuta Hirose has played in Nippon Pro Baseball.

Hirose represented Japan in the 2022 Haarlem Baseball Week, going 4-for-13 with a walk, two runs and two RBI. He was drafted by the Softbank Hawks in the 3rd round of the 2023 NPB draft; the scout was Akira Matsumoto. Hirose debuted against the Yomiuri Giants on May 28, 2024, and he got his first career hit on June 5 against Shinya Matsuyama. He hit .233/.279/.330 in 35 games in his first season; he fielded .985 at 2B, where he backed up Taisei Makihara. His 20 doubles that year were fourth in the minor Western League.
