Biographical Information[edit]

Ryusei Ohe had pitched in Nippon Pro Baseball.

Ohe was drafted by the Yomiuri Giants in the 6th round of the 2016 NPB draft; the scout was Shintaro Yoshitake. He spent his first two seasons in the NPB Farm Leagues, and he had a 6.75 ERA in 8 games in 2019. Ohe broke out in 2020, and he had a 3.11 ERA with 9 holds in 43 appearances. He pitched 2/3 of a shutout inning in the 2020 Nippon Series Game 2, and he added a shutout inning in Game 4. The Softbank Hawks still swept the Giants. Ohe notched 13 holds with a 4.09 ERA in 47 relief outings in 2021, but he only pitched 3 games in 2022. He had a 4-0 record with 6 holds and a 4.09 ERA in 32 games in 2023, and he improved to a 2.63 ERA with 5 holds in 16 games in 2024.
