Biographical Information

Ryuji Komago was drafted by the Rakuten Golden Eagles in the 2nd round of the 2022 NPB draft; the scout was Yoshinori Okihara. He had a 2.88 ERA in 39 games in the NPB Farm Leagues, but he allowed 4 runs in 4 innings for the top team. He only pitched 2 2/3 more innings for the big club, and he announced his retirement in 2025.
