Biographical Information

Ryuji Endo was drafted by the Hiroshima Carp in the first round of the 1997 NPB draft; the scout was Hidetake Watanabe. He allowed 5 runs in 3 innings in 1998, and he pitched 28 games with a 4.60 ERA in 1999. However, Endo never pitched another game with the top team before he announced his retirement in 2002.
