Biographical Information[edit]
Ryota Yoshimochi hit .263 with 62 steals in his college career, and he won four Best Nine awards. He was 3 steals shy from breaking the Kansai6 Baseball League record. The Rakuten Golden Eagles drafted him in the 2nd round of the 2015 NPB draft, and he hit .161/.235/.226 in 21 games in 2016. He also represented Japan in the 2016 U-23 Baseball World Cup. He batted .526/.545/.684 for the champs. However, Yoshimochi failed to return to the top team before he announced his retirement in 2022.
