Ronald A. Scott
Catcher Ron Scott played on the University of Miami team that finished second on the 1974 College World Series. He played one pro season with the Portland Mavericks of the Northwest League, hitting .225 in 41 games. Since 1989, he has been head coach at Fresno City College. Scott has guided the Rams to the CCCAA State Championship in 1992, a second-place finish in 2001 and six third-place finishes. The 1992 team finished 45-7, best in school history. That 1992 final was the first time two schools from northern California (FCC beat Sacramento City College) contested the championship game. Scott is the winningest active coach in the CCCAA.
