Biographical Information[edit]

Roman Colon was signed by scout Rene Francisco for the Atlanta Braves in 1995. He made his pro debut for the DSL Braves the next summer.

In June 2007, while with the Toledo Mud Hens, Colon was charged with felonious assault. Colon was alleged to have hit his teammate Jason Karnuth, breaking several bones in his face, when Karnuth was trying to break up a fight between Colon and another player.

Colon signed with the KIA Tigers during 2010 to replace the injured Matt Wright. He debuted on May 9th with one run in 3 innings against the LG Twins.

Colon became a coach with the AZL Royals in 2015-2016.
