Biographical Information[edit]

Rodrigo Shindo starred for Brazil in the 2002 World Junior Championship. The right fielder hit .346/.469/.808 with 3 homers, 9 runs and 9 RBI in 7 games, handling 11 putouts error-free. He tied Ian Stewart, Chris Lubanski and others for 7th in the event in dingers. [1] In the 2018 South American Championship, he was 5-for-11 with a walk, two doubles, a sac fly, four runs and two RBI as a regular DH for the Silver Medal winners. [2]
