Biographical Information[edit]

Roberto Ayarza has played for the Peruvian national team.

Ayarza was with Peru for the 2015 South American Championship, winning Bronze. [1] He hit .100/.400/.100 with 3 runs in the 2016 South American Championship. [2] He was 0 for 6 in the 2017 Bolivarian Games, fielding .833. [3] He was 0 for 10 with a walk and two runs in the 2018 Caribbean Baseball Cup. [4] In the 2019 Pan American Games, he and Jorge Pastor got the only hits for Peru off Nicaragua's Gustavo Martínez. He finished the event 1 for 6 with a walk as Peru's main second baseman, handling 15 chances error-free. [5]
