Biographical Information[edit]
Robert Nunez is a minor league umpire.
He attended the Puerto Rico umpire clinic. He was one of a number of minor league umpires assigned to work spring training games in 2025 and was named to MLB's call-up umpire roster for the year, but did not get the chance to make his major league debut, working in AAA instead. He returned to major league spring training in 2026 and was named an umpire for the 2026 World Baseball Classic.
