Biographical Information

Outfielder Rintaro Kitagawa represented Japan in the 2011 Asia Junior Championship. He was drafted by the Rakuten Golden Eagles in the 5th round of the 2011 NPB draft, and he hit .215/.267/.253 in 31 games in 2015. Those were his only appearances for the big club before he announced his retirement in 2017.
