Biographical Information[edit]

Rich Benjamin has been a college coach.

Benjamin played two years of college ball at Milligan College before transferring to Martin Methodist College for his final two seasons. He graduated in 2004 with a Bachelor's in English followed by a Master's in Organizational Leadership from Olivet Nazarene University.

Benjamin began his coaching career while still a college student. He was a volunteer assistant coach at Martin Methodist in 2003-2004 and then an assistant coach at Olivet Nazarene in 2005-2007. Benjamin became the head coach of Judson University in 2008 and won 176 games his first five years to set a school record for career wins. After the 2015 season, he left to coach Indiana Wesleyan University where he stayed through the 2023 season. He spent his entire college coaching career at National Association of Intercollegiate Athletics (NAIA) schools where he had over 550 career wins, 67 All-Conference selections, and seven 40-win seasons.[1] Immediately after the 2023 season, Benjamin moved to Mississinewa High School as athletic director. He only stayed for one year before moving to Warner University in June 2024 as their head coach.

However, Benjamin resigned in January 2025 to take a position as bench coach of the FCL Cardinals. He was then manager of the Palm Beach Cardinals in 2026.
