Biographical Information

Reon Murata has played in Nippon Pro Baseball.

Murata crushed 25 homers and won two MVPs in the Tokai University Baseball League. He was drafted by the Seibu Lions in the 6th round of the 2023 NPB draft; the scout was Toshiya Adachi. Murata was 3-for-13 in 2024, but he tore his left ACL while trying to catch a foul fly, and his season ended. He crushed his first career homer against Rikuto Yokoyama on August 2, and it was a game-tying solo shot in the 10th inning.
