Ralph Grajeda

Ralph Grajeda has been a college coach.
A catcher in college at he would play two years at Saddleback College before transferring to California State University, San Bernardino which placed 5th at the 1991 Division III College World Series. He would transfer to Point Loma Nazarene University where he would play in the 1993 NAIA College World Series.
Grajeda began coaching coaching at the high school level in 1996 Foothill High School (Santa Ana) and then Servite High School. He would then coach at UC Davis helping the Aggies to the Division II College World Series in charge of the hitters and catchers. Grajeda then moved to the JUCO ranks at Saddleback Community College in 2004 and was on the staff for their first State Championship serving as the teams recruiting coordinator. In 2007, he was also on the staff at Riverside City College (2007-2008) who won the 2007 State Title. He was also head coach at Junipero Serra High School (19-10 as head coach). In 2009, he became head coach of Vanguard University of Southern California. He took the team to the NAIA National Tournament in 2009, their first such appearance in 24 years. In 2010, the school was 34-20. Grajeda moved to San Diego Christian College as an assistant coach in 2013. Grajeda would move to the University of La Verne serving as an assistant coach and recruiting coordinator for the Leos in the 2016 & 2017. He would then go on to teach and be the head coach of Yucaipa High School from 2018-2024 where he won a league title 5 times, and won the CIF high school title in 2022. Grajeda returned to the college ranks in 2025 as the pitching coach of University of La Verne.
