Biographical Information[edit]

Second baseman Rafael Ynoa played in the minor leagues beginning in 2006, before making his big league debut in 2014.

He was originally signed by Los Angeles Dodgers scout Ezequiel Sepulveda and played in their system through 2013. A swift runner, he stole 40 bases for the Great Lakes Loons in 2010 (and made the Midwest League Mid-Season All-Star team that year) and in 2012, he swiped 23 bags for the Chattanooga Lookouts (and made the Southern League Mid-Season All-Star team. Not a high-average hitter, he did bat .306 in 43 games for the GCL Dodgers in 2008. Granted free agency following 2013 by Los Angeles, the Colorado Rockies signed him for the 2014 campaign.
