Ossining, NY

Ossining is located in southeastern New York, on the east bank of the Hudson River at a point where it enlarges to form the "Tappen Zee", 15 miles north of Yonkers, NY. Edwin McAlpin served as the town's mayor in addition to being born and having died here. The Sing Sing Correctional Facility is located in the town.
