Biographical Information

Osamu Takemoto signed with the Hankyu Braves in 1986, but he only pitched one game for the big club (2 IP, 1 H, 2 BB, 3 K, 0 R) before he announced his retirement in 1990. He was named the coach of Amagasaki Municipal High School in 2014, and he coached Japan in the 2025 U-18 Baseball World Cup.
