Biographical Information

Osamu Ogata was drafted by the Nankai Hawks in the 2nd round of the 1968 NPB draft, and he stayed in the NPB Farm Leagues in his first two seasons. He had a 1.70 ERA in 11 games in 1971, but he didn't reach the big club again before he announced his retirement in 1975.
