Biographical Information

Osamu Izawa signed with the Osaka Tigers in 1950, and he was 4-3 with a 1.04 ERA in 14 games in his first season. His ERA rose to 18.75 in 10 games in 1952, and he was turned into an outfielder. Izawa only played 3 games in 1953, then he announced his retirement.
