Biographical Information

Nozomu Suzuki was drafted by the Yomiuri Giants in the 5th round of the 1989 NPB draft, but he only played 4 games before the Giants released him in 1995. The Nippon Ham Fighters picked him up, and he was 1-for-15 in 1996. Suzuki failed to return to the big club again, and he announced his retirement in 1998. His parents were both track and field athletes in the 1964 Olympics, and his father Shosuke Suzuki later coached the Giants.
