Biographical Information

Norio Haido pitched in Nippon Pro Baseball for 4 years. His brother Masao Haido also played in NPB.

Haido signed with the Hiroshima Carp in 1958, and he was 6-4 with a 2.29 ERA in his first season. He went 4-2 with a 1.82 ERA in 1959, and he recorded a 3.13 ERA in 20 games in 1960. However, Haido allowed 9 runs in 7 innings in 1961, and he announced his retirement.

Overall, Haido was 12-7 with a 2.42 ERA, struck out 136 and pitched 241 1/3 innings in 4 seasons in NPB.
