Biographical Information

Tetsuo Yoneyama was drafted by the Nankai Hawks in the 5th round of the 1974 NPB draft, and he hit .178/.204/.222 in 20 games in 1975. He was 0-for-5 in 1976, then he had a .260/.296/.340 batting line in 1977. Yonetani played 51 games with a .184/.283/.223 batting line in 1978, but he failed to return to the top team before he announced his retirement in 1979.

Overall, Yonetani hit .197/.263/.246 with 40 hits and 2 homers in 4 seasons in NPB.
