Biographical Information

Nobuo Takahashi was drafted by the Orix BlueWave in the 5th round of the 1997 NPB draft, and he went 4-for-20 in 1998. He only got 12 more at-bats for the top team, and he announced his retirement in 2001. He was named the minor league battery coach for the Yomiuri Giants in 2021, and he coached the Oisix Niigata Albirex Baseball Club in 2024. He became an assistant coach for Ryutsu Keizai University in 2025.
