Biographical Information

Nobuo Shibata signed with the Taiyo Whales in 1964, and he only played one game in his first three seasons. He was 1-for-6 in 1967, and he went 1-for-13 in 35 games in 1968. Shibata didn't have any at-bats in 1969, and he announced his retirement.
