Biographical Information

Nobuaki Arai was drafted by the Nippon Ham Fighters in the 2nd round of the 1995 NPB draft, and he hit .190/.280/.190 in 26 games in his first season. He played 27 games with a .278/.278/.333 batting line in 1997, then he was 4-for-11 in 1999. Arai only got 15 more at-bats for the big club, and he announced his retirement in 2003.
