Biographical Information[edit]

Nien-Hsi Yang has pitched in the minor league. His father Tung-Yi Yang also played professional baseball.[1]

Yang represented Taiwan in the 2022 U-18 Baseball World Cup, beating the champion US. He was 1-0 with a 2.17 ERA and also reached in five of six plate appearances. His .077 opponent average was second, behind Luis Aguilar. [2] He allowed one run in one inning in the 2023 U-18 Baseball World Cup as Japan repeated as Silver Medalists. [3] He went 1-0 with a 1.91 ERA when Taiwan won the 2024 Asian U-18 Baseball Championship, defeating Thailand's Yuri Kayanuma. [4] The San Francisco Giants signed him on December 12, 2024 with a $500,000 signing bonus, and he had a 5.40 ERA in 4 games for the ACL Giants in 2025.
