Nico Adam
Biographical Information[edit]
Nico Adam pitched in the Hoofdklasse and for the Dutch national team.
He was with HCAW in 1989. [1] He was 1-2 with a 7.59 ERA for the Netherlands in the 1990 Baseball World Cup, leading the team in decisions and tying Erik Lommerde for second in games pitched (one behind Jan van Gorkum), finishing second in IP (10 2/3, 3 behind Peter Callenbach) and tying for second with 5 K (7 shy of Frans Groot). He went four shutout innings to beat Venezuela's Luis Tirado but lost to Canada's Jamie Wolkosky and then lost the rematch to Venezuela's Gilberto Romero. [2]
