New England Collegiate Conference
There have been two college conferences that have used the name New England Collegiate Conference. There was an NCAA Division II conference from 1983-1984 to 1999-2000. Subsequently there was an NCAA Division III conference from 2008-2009 to 2022-2023.
Defunct Division-II Conference[edit]
The first New England Collegiate Conference was a Division-II conference that was formed in the 1981-1982 school year, began sponsoring baseball in 1983, and lasted through the 1999-2000 school year.
The University of New Haven played in multiple Division II College World Series while a member of the conference. Quinnipiac University and Sacred Heart University also went to the CWS.

Defunct Division-III Conference[edit]
The second New England Collegiate Conference was a Division-III conference that began play in the 2008-2009 school year. The conference saw many schools leave during the 2017-2021 period, reducing the lineup to four4 schools. All four found new conferences for the 2023-2024 school year, ending the conference's run.
