Biographical Information

Naoki Nakahigashi was drafted by the Hiroshima Carp in the 5th round of the 2006 NPB draft, and he hit .200/.243/.229 in 31 games in 2007. He only got 12 more at-bats for the big club combined in the next three seasons, and he was 7-for-34 in 2011. Nakahigashi had a 9-for-29 record in 53 games in 2012 as he was often a defensive sub in the outfield, then he hit .273/.333/.351 in 2013. He recorded a .238/.279/.300 batting line in 2014, then he was 0-for-3 in 2015 and he announced his retirement in 2016.

Overall, Nakahigashi hit .233/.276/.279 with 71 hits in 9 seasons in NPB.
